Meet Brian Salamanca

National, USCCB

Brian Salamanca is a native of Washington D.C., his family is originally from El Salvador. Growing up in a predominantly Salvadorian neighborhood, Salamanca always knew he wanted to pursue a career in which he could give back to the Latino community. Salamanca attended Liberty University studying communications and obtaining a degree in Public Relations. He has worked in a variety of international and national non-profits organizations developing and executing a variety of campaigns with a common goal; giving back to the community.

Salamanca’s passion to help others led him to join the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops to assist with the planning  of the V National Encuentro. The positive impact the National V Encuentro will have on the lives of people has further driven his passion to give back to the community. He is excited to be part of the USCCB’s Secretariat for Cultural  Diversity in the Church team and looks forward to seeing the fruits of hard work and dedication.
